Douglas Ferguson

Doug was born in Vancouver, BC on April 2nd of 1986.  Always the comedian, Doug used to practice making faces in the mirror from a very young age.  Emulating the various vocal talents of cartoon cast over the years has given Doug a wide range of impressions that he has refined with physical comedy to this very day
After regularly pursuing acting in elementary school, Doug joined Burnaby South’s improv team in high school, competing on a national level in 2002.  He continued honing his skills, intending on becoming an actor, but while writing and directing the NSHG educational short “How to High Five”, he found another one of his passions was behind the camera.
Balancing the two skills together, Doug has produced many small films and attended Langara College to obtain a filmmaking certificate in directing.  The connections he made through the program, and all the people he met, has been an invaluable asset to him.  Follow Doug as he pursues his career here.
